Description of Bio Waves

Bioacoustics is the study of how animals use sound for communication and echolocation. Often animals use sounds that humans cannot perceive. I received two BS degrees in Zoology and Speech and Hearing Science as I was interested in pursuing research in bioacoustics.

This website will present resources for bioacoustics and physical acoustics. It also presents some of my depictions of the natural world through photography and scientific illustration. In the future it will provide more links to GIS and other art projects that I have completed. Eventually, it will include photographs from my trans-America road trips from Washington to Florida, Florida to New York, and New York back to Washington, as well as images from Northern Queensland in Australia.
